If you have a Mac and you’re running a device on iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4/6.1.5 then you may want to drop by http://p0sixspwn.com and download the new untethered jailbreak. The Windows link is also on the site, but if clicked, prompts you that the Windows tool is still pending. To get this jailbreak:
- Go to http://p0sixspwn.com
- Click on “Mac OS X (10.7+)” and download the zip file using Google Chrome
- Once downloaded, double-click the zip file to unzip it and it will give you the tool
- Right-click on the p0sixspwn tool and click open
- Plug in your selected device
- Disable your passcode
- Click “Jailbreak” and follow the on screen instructions
Keep in mind, you may have issues downloading the file with Safari and get an error stating that the file is damage and must be moved to the trash. If that’s the case, just download Google Chrome and try again and it should work.
