Slo-mo Mod brings iPhone 5s’ Slow Motion video feature to some unsupported devices

Slo-mo Mod brings iPhone 5s’ Slow Motion video feature to some unsupported devices

Slo-mo video is one of the cool features of iPhone 5s. It allows you to shoot 720p videos at a high frame rate of 120 fps (regular frame rate is 30 fps), which means the video can be slowed down to quarter of the speed and still appear normal to the human eye.
Now thanks to a new jailbreak tweak called Slo-mo Mod, you will be able to shoot slow-motion videos on older iOS devices.

The tweak supports devices that can record videos at 60 frames per second. So the iOS devices supported are:
  • iPhone 5, iPhone 5c
  • iPad Air, Retina iPad mini
iOS devices such as the iPhone 4s, iPhone 4, iPad 4, iPad 3, original iPad mini, iPod touch 4g and iPod touch 5g are not supported as they record videos only at 30 frames per second. The developer is currently trying to figure out a way to add support to these devices.
After installing the tweak, it enables the new Slo-mo mode in the Camera app, and it also allows you to select the portion that you want to play in slow-motion.
